Pride Month: Continue the Fight for the Equal Rights for All

The Supreme Court ruled that LGBTQ+ Americans cannot be discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. That’s an important step in the right direction, but there is still work to be done — LGBTQ+ Americans still do not have full anti-discrimination protections when it comes to important aspects of everyday life, including housing and health care.

Last year, the House advanced the Equality Act, which would rectify that and secure anti-discrimination protections for the LGBTQ+ community, but for more than a year, Mitch McConnell has refused to bring it up for a vote in the Senate.

We’re long overdue for action.

Add your name and demand McConnell bring up the Equality Act for a vote in the Senate.
